Latitude D820 AC Adapter

I've been using my mom's Dell Latitude D820 a lot lately, since my AC adapter is shot...
Her battery light has been blinking green once, then red four times...and whenever we unplug it, it just shuts off. It's not my computer so I'm not sure...but I think her battery was very recently replaced. What is going on? We want to fix this soon...and she's blaming me...lol

Yeah, unfortunately the battery is dying or malfunctioning. you will need to replace it. If it was flashing green then it would be charging but since you get the red flashes means the battery is malfunctioning. Good luck.
