Armada 110 AC Adapter

My original HP pavilion dv1000 adapter (product number:239427-001) broke, so i had to buy a new one. I bought one from this website:

When it got it, I compared it to my original adapter and the tech specs were different.

Old adapter: Input 100-240V ~1.6A, 50-60 Hz and Output 18.5V = 3.5A
Just purchased: Input 100-240V ~1.7A, 50-60 Hz and Output 18.5V = 3.5A

Will the 1.6 and 1.7A difference affect my computer?

No, it won't affect it at all. That is the correct adapter.

The specification that's important is Output Voltage (18.5V) - and that the output amps (3.5A) is at least enough to power the computer and charge the battery without overloading.

The new one may be slightly less efficient (it may use a bit more power to do the same thing) but it will work properly and a difference that small wouldn't be noticable...the extra power use would be less than a night-light uses...
