I have a $295 budget if I found this for 235 mabey i can squeeze a little better computer.

Personally it sounds like someone is out to find a sucker with a little money and even less knowledge. You made the right choice by asking first. Do not purchase that Pc. Ask the seller if Fred or Barney used it last. You will find something better. Save your Money. Besides, in that whole description it does not mention what parts are Refurbished.....Does that sound strange to anyone but me?

    I recently got an email from a customer who was having some trouble with his computer. Turns out his Lithium Ion - 700US was shutting off when only using battery power, and the solution was (funnily enough) a replacement battery.

    How do you figure out that you need a new laptop battery?

    1. Instead of lasting hours, you notice that your Compaq battery only lasts a few minutes.

    2. The battery is unrecognized as being connected, or it refuses to charge what so ever: If you can’t operate without your AC adapter, getting a new battery should be a high priority.

    3. Your laptop is less then a year old but battery life has become limited. If this is the case you will want to try to contact technical support for Compaq. Remember that most warrantees have very specific coverage of battery life , but you may still fall within the coverage range. While talking to Technical Support, be sure to ask about the cost of replacing the battery. But don’t buy it yet.
